(01)Programs

Find your path.

From a curious 4-year-old to a complete-beginner adult to a seasoned competitor: there's a class built for exactly where you are.

(02)The Programs

Seven classes. One clear next step.

Young children playing balance and coordination games in Tots BJJ
Ages 4–6 · Gi

Tots BJJ

A first taste of the mats built entirely around play. Through games, throwing and falling, and lots of positive reinforcement, the youngest students build coordination, balance and the confidence to try something new, all while learning to listen and treat others with respect.

  • Movement games that teach coordination and balance
  • Safe throwing and falling, the foundation of every later skill
  • Listening, taking turns and showing respect on the mat
Ages 7–9 · Gi

Kids BJJ

This is where the real foundation gets built. Kids learn positions, escapes and their first submissions through steady drilling and live practice, and earn youth belt promotions as they grow. The mat lessons of focus and standing up to bullying carry straight into school and home.

  • Positions, escapes and basic submissions through drilling and live practice
  • An anti-bullying mindset and the focus to match it
  • Youth belt promotions that mark real, earned progress

Youth BJJ

Now they get treated close to adults. The pace picks up with competition-focused techniques and submission chains, sharpened through positional sparring. Senior youth also start to lead, helping coach the younger classes and growing into real mat leaders.

  • Competition-focused techniques and connected submission chains
  • Positional sparring that builds timing and problem-solving
  • Leadership, senior youth help run the younger classes
Ages 13–15 · Gi · Co-ed

Teens BJJ

The bridge from youth to adult training. Teens work the full curriculum with situational sparring and live rolling, building fitness and resilience along the way. Those who catch the competitive bug can fold in optional competition prep when they're ready.

  • The full curriculum with situational sparring and live rolling
  • Real fitness and the resilience that comes with it
  • Optional competition prep for teens who want to test themselves

Women's Only BJJ

A beginner-friendly room that follows the same BJJ Basics curriculum in a smaller, supportive setting. The focus leans into practical self-defence, and the class welcomes all ages and body types. When they're ready, graduates move comfortably into the mixed classes.

  • Follows the BJJ Basics curriculum in a supportive, smaller room
  • Practical self-defence for all ages and body types
  • A clear path into the mixed classes when you're ready

BJJ Basics

The foundation, and the class we recommend everyone starts with. You'll cover breakfalls, throws, positional control, escapes and submissions in a format that's the same every class, so there's never a moment where you don't know what's happening or feel out of your depth.

  • Breakfalls, throws, positional control, escapes and submissions
  • The same format every class: warm-up, technique, drilling, positional sparring
  • The recommended starting point for every new adult and teen

NoGi BJJ

Same art, no gi to grab. NoGi trains the modern techniques used in submission grappling and MMA, leg locks, wrestling takedowns and dynamic passing, at a faster, sweatier pace. We recommend getting comfortable with the fundamentals first.

  • Modern techniques used in NoGi grappling and MMA
  • Leg locks, wrestling takedowns and dynamic passing
  • A faster pace, fundamentals recommended before you jump in
(03)Beyond BJJ

Also on the mats.

Jiu-jitsu is the heart of the academy, but it isn't all we run. Two more programmes round out the timetable and keep you moving well in every direction.

Judo

Kids/Youth Judo (Ages 6–12) and adult Judo (Gi). Throws, takedowns and breakfalls that sharpen the standing game and complement jiu-jitsu beautifully.
